Welcome to the International Society of Craniofacial Surgery!
Our society represents excellence, safety, and innovation in surgeries that reconstruct birth defects or traumatic injuries of the skull and facial bones. Our active members belong to interdisciplinary craniofacial teams and undergo a selective admission process to ensure they have the training, experience, and team structure needed to perform the complex operations in craniofacial surgery as well as the necessary multi-disciplinary team to support patients and their families through life. We are a group of specialists who come together every two years from over 30 countries to advance the field of craniofacial surgery for our pediatric and adult patients.
Join us for our next society in-person meeting in Shanghai from October 27-30, 2025. We plan to highlight all areas of craniofacial surgery, especially the evolving art of facial contouring. Shanghai has much to offer culturally, and we hope all participants will take the opportunity to visit the sites in this jewel of Asia.

My first exposure to ISCFS was at the Zambia meeting in 2011. I had been a doctor for three weeks at this point, the experience I had and the contacts I made truly cemented my drive to become a fully fledged craniofacial surgeon. I look forward to the biennial meetings as an opportunity to catch up with international colleagues and listen to the most contemporaneous research (the social program is always great fun too!)
