CME

The 21st Congress of the International Society of Craniofacial Surgery, Shanghai, China, China 28/10/2025 – 30/10/2025 , has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 20.5 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.

Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Information on the process to convert EACCME® credit to AMA credit can be found at https://edhub.ama-assn.org/pages/applications .

Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC®s are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Information regarding the conversion of EACCME® credits

Credit will be converted based on one (1) hour of participation equalling one credit for all activities. Physicians wishing to convert EACCME® credits to AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ will be required to access the AMA website at https://edhub.amaassn.org/pages/applications to obtain the necessary paperwork and instructions. Physicians and other health care professionals will be required to pay a processing fee to the AMA.

For other countries, please contact the relevant national/regional accreditation authority.

EACCME® credits
Each participant can only receive the number of credits he/she is entitled to according to his/her actual participation at the event once he/she has completed the feedback form. Cf. criteria 22 of UEMS 2023.07.

Breakdown of ECMEC®s per day:
28/10/2025 max. 6.5
29/10/2025 max. 8.0
30/10/2025 max. 6.0

Please make sure to scan your entry to the sessions and to fill in the evaluation form for all sessions you attended!

Documentation Required to Travel to the Netherlands

It is the responsibility of each person attending the Congress to obtain a visa, if required, to travel to the Netherlands.

This website provides useful, official
 information: www.netherlandsworldwide.nl/visa-the-netherlands

We recommend that you apply for your visa early. The Program Committee is not responsible for arranging visas and has no influence over their issuance. However, should you need an official invitation letter for visa application purposes, you may contact Congress staff who will provide a letter for you. You must include your name and address exactly as this information appears in your passport and send an email requesting an invitation letter.

No registration fee refunds will be issued for cancellation or non-attendance due to failure to obtain a visa. The Program Committee cannot be held responsible for any inconvenience resulting from non-observance or non-compliance with Dutch laws, rules and regulations related to visitor entry.
