Airport Transfer
To travel to Rotterdam from anywhere in the world, you can fly into Rotterdam The Hague Airport (RTM) or fly into a larger international airport like Amsterdam Schiphol (AMS) and then take a train to Rotterdam.
By air
- Fly to Rotterdam The Hague Airport (RTM): This is a local airport with direct flights from a number of cities, particularly in Europe. Flight Connections mentions direct flights from London City and other cities.
- Fly to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS): This is a major international hub. From Schiphol, you can take a train to Rotterdam. NS notes that the journey takes just over 40 minutes and costs around €15.40 for an e-ticket.
- From RTM airport to Rotterdam city center: Once you land at RTM, you can take the Line 33 bus, a taxi, or other options to get to Rotterdam Central Station.
By train
- From within Europe: Rotterdam has excellent train connections to other major European cities.
London: You can take a Eurostar from London to Rotterdam in about 3 hours and 13 minutes. - From other parts of the Netherlands: Numerous intercity trains, including high-speed options, stop at Rotterdam Central Station.
